Standing

Standing changes every number but not the rules. Raise the desk to your standing elbow height so forearms stay level, and lift the monitor so its top meets your standing eye line, much higher than seated.

  1. Monitor top ≈ 67–69″

At standing eye level · glance slightly down

  2. Elbows 90–100°

Desk at standing elbow height · shoulders relaxed

  3. Weight even, knees soft

Shift often · a mat helps · don’t lock the joints
