MapTap daily city frequency

Snapshot: October 22, 2026. Counts use the active five-target arrays in the currently published January 1–October 21 daily files: 294 days, 1,470 targets. These files can be revised; this is not an immutable record of what originally ran. Comments, old arrays, and draft targets are excluded.

Cities are matched to MapTap’s master location pool with manual alias checks. Named landmarks are excluded. Hollywood is grouped with Los Angeles; Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island with New York City. Semipalatinsk and Semey are grouped. Baikonur’s three cosmodrome pins and Mohenjo-daro’s archaeological-site pin are excluded from the city ranking.

Ties are ordered alphabetically. North America includes Central America and the Caribbean. Central Asia includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. South America excludes Brazil.
